I want to have life long friends in Japan. I would like to be able to sample all Japanese food. There are many amazing places I have been in Japan but there are still many more that I would like to see. It is easy to have a very rich experience in Japan. I am Christian so it is important for me to have good fellowship and a good church here. Fortunately, that has been provided. God is very generous. It would be great to be able to share how good He has been with more and more Japanese because so few are Christian and could really benefit from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I believe their families, jobs and private lives would all improve. I'm praying for a huge revival in Japan.
日本で、長く友達でいられる友人が欲しいです。日本の食べ物は何でも好きです。日本には素敵なところがたくさんありますね。これまでいろいろな所に行きましたが、まだ行ってみたいところがたくさんあります。私はクリスチャンですので、よい交わりのできる教会が必要です。神様は寛大な方ですね、素晴らしい教会を与えて下さいました。日本にはクリスチャンが少なく、イエス・キリストと個人的な交わりを持つことの素晴らしさを経験している人が少ないので、神様がどんなに素敵な方か、もっともっと多くの日本人に知って欲しいです。神様と出会うことにより、家族が、仕事が、人生がとても素晴らしいものになります。多くの方がそうなるように、祈っています。

─Where are you from?（どこの国から来ましたか？）

I was born in a small town in New York, United States.
アメリカのニューヨークにある小さな町で生まれました。

─What are your hobbies?（趣味は？）

I enjoy taking photos and video and then editing them to make slide shows and movies. I also enjoy running, playing computer games and reading whenever I have time.
写真やビデオを撮影し、編集してスライドショーや映画を作るのが趣味です。
時間がある時は、ジョギングやコンピューターゲーム、読書などします。

─How has living in Japan been?（日本で、どんな生活体験をしていますか？）

Life in Japan is wonderful. Because I love the outdoors, there are times and seasons here that make me wonder if I'm seeing part of heaven on earth. Working with children, however, may be the most rewarding thing because I can see them grow up and watch them learn - what an exciting thing! I'm so honored to be a part of it.
日本での生活は素晴らしいです。私は戸外に出ることが好きですが、神様の創造された四季に触れながら、この地球上で天国の一部を見ているかのようです。子供たちに英語を教えていて、子供たちが学びながら成長している姿を見て、とても恵まれます。その子供たちと一緒にいることは、大きな喜びです。

─Which places have you visited in Japan, and which was your favorite?（日本の中でどこに行きましたか、またどの場所が一番好きですか？）

I have been to many places on the Kanto Plain. I've also been to Kyoto, Hiroshima and Nagano. Some of the most memorable places include Nikko, Nokogiriyama and Hakone. Karuizawa is very peaceful and quiet (and cool in the summer!).

─What are some memorable moments in Japan?（日本で、どんなことが心に残っていますか？）

One of the most memorable was watching the sunrise from the top of Mount Fuji. I've climbed other mountains but there is really nothing like it. I've made great friends here so I'm happy to say that I've experienced the very best of Japan with the very best people.

─What is your personal message to everyone?（皆様へのメッセージ）

Always do your best. Don't worry about failing. If you don't try, you can never succeed! If you do your very best with what God has given you, then you will never truly fail.
